Job summary

Sanford Health – Marshfield Clinic is seeking a 1.0 FTE trauma surgeon to join a seven-member Trauma Surgery section in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The position entails acute care surgery, critical care, and trauma coverage in a Level II Trauma Center with in-house coverage 24/7.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Fellowship and be board certified or eligible in surgical critical care through the AB Surgery, with an interest in trauma research and medical

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in surgical critical care preferred.
• Interest in trauma research and medical education is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care surgery, critical care, and trauma coverage as part of a Level II Trauma Center.
• Participate in trauma research and medical education activities.
• Support 24/7 in-house trauma coverage with a team of surgeons.
