Skilled Wound Care in Los Angeles is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join our Monday–Friday team. You will perform surgical and bedside wound debridement, manage complex wounds, and collaborate with post-acute care partners to guide patients through healing.

This role offers a stable schedule, competitive salary, and autonomy, with comprehensive wound care training provided. MD or DO, California license, and DEA eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practice state or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Trauma Surgeon Salary & Compensation

• Average Annual Earnings: 200,000-250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Trauma Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds, as well as Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians. No previous wound care experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
