Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery (ABS), or current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2+) training in the field.
• At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
• Citizen or based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with ACS-COT standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate trauma and acute-care surgical case presentations, damage-control assessment, and triage.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Trauma Surgeons at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.
