Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for the PCU Trauma Stepdown to deliver high‑quality care in a high acuity environment. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care, and collaborate with the team to improve outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), BLS certification, and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure required; compact licensure accepted with active FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• ASN or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including test results.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
