Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, high-acuity care in the Progressive Care Unit. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care while educating patients and families on medications and treatments.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact accepted with Florida license within 60 days), a nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients' records, post tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
