Job summary

Scripps Health's RN opportunity at Scripps Memorial La Jolla is a full-time Night Shift 12-hour schedule. You will deliver direct patient care on the Stepdown Unit, perform assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate progress in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include California RN license, 1 year of recent RN experience (6 months in PCU/DOU/Stepdown), BLS & ACLS, and English fluency. Preferred: BSN and trauma/ortho RN experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience (6 months in PCU, DOU or Stepdown)
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certification
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementation of care; evaluate patient progress.
• Work within a team to create an environment focused on functional restoration and optimal outcomes.
