Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a neurosurgeon for an inpatient locum-tenens assignment in Washington (Richland). The role requires adult neurosurgery experience with trauma, VP shunt and ICP monitor placement expertise, and spinal procedures with/without instrumentation. ACLS/BLS certification is required.

Shifts include 14–21 per month with 24-hour beeper calls. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing, and support through a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• Neurosurgery specialty required for adult patients.
• Trauma experience required for procedures.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery care.
• Participate in 24-hour beeper call shifts (14–21 per month).
• Maintain 20-minute call response time.
