Job summary

The role includes VP shunt and ICP monitor placement and spinal surgery with or without instrumentation.

ACLS and BLS certification are required. The facility is stroke certified, with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and a Weatherby consultant available 24/7.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Neurosurgery (adult) with trauma experience preferred.
• Spinal surgery with/without instrumentation experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour beeper call in an inpatient neurosurgery setting.
• Respond within 20 minutes to calls and manage acute neurosurgical needs.
• Perform VP shunt and ICP monitor placement; spinal procedures with/without instrumentation.
