Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking a neurosurgeon for 24-hour beeper call coverage in Richland, WA (99352). This inpatient, call-only assignment runs Dec 15, 2026 – ongoing, with 14–21 shifts per month and 24-hour shifts.

Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency. The physician will manage trauma and acute neurosurgical cases, perform spinal surgeries with/without instrumentation, place VP shunts and ICP monitors, and collaborate with hospital staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified neurosurgeon with experience in trauma and spine.
• Availability for 24-hour call coverage and inpatient consults.
• Skilled in collaborating with hospital staff to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies and inpatient consults.
• Manage trauma and acute neurosurgical cases, including head and spine injuries.
• Perform spinal surgeries with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar).
• Place and manage VP shunts and ICP monitors.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive neurosurgical care.
