Stryker in Oregon is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative to drive revenue, case coverage and market share for Trauma products. This field-based role requires on-call availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise.

You will build relationships with orthopedic surgeons and OR staff, manage multiple priorities, and deliver product demos and education to customers, while maintaining inventory and documenting activities for compliance.

Field-based Stryker Position Title: Trauma Sales Representative Schedule & On-Call Requirements This position requires an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. While this level of availability is essential for the role, we understand it may not be suitable for every candidate. Candidates who choose not to pursue this position due to the on-call demands will not be negatively evaluated or penalized in future opportunities with our organization.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, case coverage, and market share objectives for Stryker Trauma products.

Provide responsive clinical and technical support during trauma and orthopedic procedures, including urgent cases that occur during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Build and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons, operating room staff, emergency department personnel, and healthcare decision-makers within assigned accounts.

Manage multiple competing priorities across scheduled cases, emergency procedures, inventory requirements, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.

Conduct product evaluations, demonstrations, and educational programs to support customer adoption and appropriate product utilization.

Maintain inventory, instrument sets, and consignment assets to ensure product availability and operational readiness for case support.

Analyze account activity, competitive trends, and territory performance data to identify growth opportunities and support business objectives.

Document sales activities, customer interactions, inventory transactions, and compliance requirements in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

What You Will Need

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree OR minimum 4 years of experience in sales, clinical healthcare, or a combination of both.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• B2B Sales experience, internship experience, customer-facing experience, leadership experience, or demonstrated achievement in academics, athletics, military service, or extracurricular activities preferred.
• Experience working in an operating room, procedural healthcare environment, medical device sales role, or clinical support role.
• Experience providing intraoperative clinical support during surgical procedures.
• Experience managing surgical inventory, consignment assets, or instrument sets.

Sales Commission only: This role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses + benefits.

Travel Percentage: 30%

Work Flexibility

• Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
• Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
