Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Trauma Unit on a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am, 72 hours per pay). A sign-on bonus is offered.

The RN provides comprehensive patient care, advocates for patients and families, and collaborates with the inter-professional team to ensure safety and quality within the unit. Required are an Ohio RN license and current CPR certification; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
• No prior job-related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team to deliver care.
• Uphold the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Utilize the nursing process with evidence-based care for a diverse caseload.
