Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Trauma Resource RN to work in Critical Care areas. The role involves observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care, with health teaching and patient-family counseling as part of a collaborative care team.

You will serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, document patient status, and support discharge planning while delivering age-appropriate and culturally

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or registered multi-state license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Critical Care - High Acuity background highly preferred (ED/ICU/Trauma).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and related training must be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs.
• Carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Coordinate care across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Document patient status using computerized systems; communicate changes to team.
