Job summary

Counseling Speaks is seeking a compassionate Trauma & Resilience Therapist to join our growing group practice in the Chicago/Park Ridge area. The role focuses on helping clients process trauma, grief, and major transitions while building healthier coping strategies.

Responsibilities include individual therapy for adults and youth, trauma-informed care, treatment planning, timely documentation, and offering in-person and telehealth sessions across Illinois.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., Psy.D., LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW credential.
• Active Illinois license preferred or eligible for licensure.
• Trauma therapy experience or training preferred.

• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.

We are seeking a compassionateTrauma & Resilience Therapist to join our growing group counseling practice.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping individuals process trauma, grief, difficult life experiences, relationship trauma, and major transitions while developing healthier coping strategies and resilience.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or young adults
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical care
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely clinical documentation
• Provide both in-person and telehealth services
• Collaborate with other clinicians when appropriate

Qualifications

• Ph.D., Psy.D., LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW
• Active Illinois license preferred
• Pre-licensed clinicians actively working toward Illinois licensure may be considered
• Experience or specialized training in trauma therapy preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
