Job summary

The Institute for Trauma Recovery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a data analyst/statistician with a master's degree or higher to join a collaborative team of investigators. You will perform statistical analyses on longitudinal data from the ~35 million dollar AURORA study and related research efforts.

Primary duties include analyzing complex datasets, preparing manuscripts, and supporting grant work using R and other software to advance trauma research and patient

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Demonstrated ability as a scientific writer, demonstrated ability to perform advanced statistical analyses and learn and perform statistical analyses new to them, expert knowledge of R and other software packages.
• Must be able to analyze diverse longitudinal data collected as part of research studies and have prior experience publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts and preparing other academic, grant, or stakeholder-facing materials.
