Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services is seeking a trauma data abstractor to perform daily abstraction of trauma cases into the registry and to review admission records for population identification. The role focuses on QA against regulatory standards and requires applying ICD and AIS coding to data points drawn from inpatient trauma cases.

You will maintain logs, compile monthly statistics, and support research initiatives.

• Daily abstraction of Trauma cases into the trauma registry.
• Review admission records for population identification.
• Analyze records for quality assurance trauma standards.
• Apply ICD and AIS coding and register all trauma data points.
• Maintain logs of abstractions and produce monthly statistical reports.
• Assist with QA reports and research planning as needed.

Responsibilities
