Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cross-disciplinary project experience, knowledge of CQI tools, and the ability to work independently with strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cross-disciplinary project experience focusing on care quality improvements.
• Knowledge of CQI principles and tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills for complex problems.
• Strong computer, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Experience applying ICD-9-CM, Ecodes and AIS scoring.
• Ability to review/interpret patient care continuum in medical records.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Trauma Service Department by maintaining the Trauma Registry and using clinical and financial data tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provides clinical and financial data to the Trauma Service Department focusing on performance improvement and patient care, with financial viability in mind.
