United Health Services (UHS) in New York's Southern Tier seeks a Trauma Registrar to manage high-quality trauma data entry into the registry. You will coordinate daily data collection and ensure data completeness before submitting to the NYS DOH and NTDB, supporting ACS verification and NYS DOH designation.

• Associate degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or allied health field required.
• Must complete ATS or similar trauma registrar class within 12 months of hire.

The Trauma Registrar coordinates the day-to-day collection of data for the Trauma Registry, as well as verifies completeness of data prior to submission to the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) and the National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB). Trauma Registrar reports to and works with the Trauma Program Manager to ensure that the trauma registry meets all requirements to achieve verification by the American College of Surgeons and to maintain designation as a trauma center by NYS DOH. Trauma Registrar self-motivated and a team player.
