People Fluent in Augusta, Arkansas is seeking a Trauma Registrar to support the trauma program by collecting, securing, and reporting data on injury events, severity, care, and outcomes. The registrar will compile and code information for analysis and reporting of individual and aggregate results.

Ideal candidates have several years of medical registry coding experience and hold coding certifications such as CSTR, AAAM or PCP.

Position Description

The trauma Registrar is an essential component of the trauma program. The registry provides for the collection, secure storage, and reporting of information about trauma patients, including facts related to the injury event, severity, care provided, and outcomes. Obtaining, coding, and sorting this information for analysis and reporting individual and aggregate results are the expressed purpose of the Trauma Registrar.

Position Requirements

• Three years or more of experience in medical registry coding.
• Injury, diagnosis and procedure coding, AAAM Coding.
• CSTR, AAAM, PCP or other coding certification.
• Medical coding education.
