Job summary

R.A.M.HCG consultants is seeking a Trauma Registrar for a fully remote, full-time position. The role involves detailed abstraction of trauma registry data from EMR systems, ensuring compliance with state and national guidelines and meeting deadlines.

The candidate must have 2+ years in trauma data abstraction (Adult and Pediatric Level I) and possess CAISS/CSTR, AIS 2015, Trauma Registry coursework, and ICD-10 training within 5 years, plus Epic EMR and V5/ESO Registry experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' trauma registry data abstraction experience (Adult and Pediatric Level I).
• CAISS and/or CSTR certification required.
• AIS 2015 and Trauma Registry course completion certificates required.
• ICD-10 course completion within past 5 years required.
• Experience with Epic EMR System required.
• Experience with V5/ESO Registry Software required.

Job description

The Trauma Registrar is responsible for the review and detailed abstraction of trauma registry data from electronic medical records in compliance with state and national guidelines. The Trauma Registrar is committed to high-quality data abstraction, meets both quality and productivity standards, detailed, and works well to ensure deadlines are met.

This position is Full-time 40 hours per week position with a shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift can be any time between 7 AM - 6 PM EST. This is a fully remote position.

Job Qualifications for Trauma Registrar:

• Required - A minimum of 2 years' trauma registry data abstraction experience in an Adult and Pediatric Level I
• Required- CAISS and/or CSTR
• Required - AIS 2015 and Trauma Registry course completion certificates
• Required - ICD-10 course completion within the past 5 years
• Required - Experience with Epic EMR System
• Required - Experience with V5/ESO Registry Software
