Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri is seeking a Trauma Program Leader to monitor patient care and coordinate performance improvement and patient safety initiatives in the trauma center with the trauma medical director. The role acts as liaison, educator, and patient advocate within the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing standards and policies, leading PIPS and peer reviews, coordinating trauma continuing education for nursing staff, engaging EMS, and overseeing the trauma

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or degree from accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• RN licensure in Missouri or Kansas upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate trauma patient care and coordinate performance improvement programs.
• Lead trauma team activities including standards, forms, and peer review.
• Develop trauma continuing education for nursing staff annually.
• Coordinate trauma outreach and EMS education.
• Oversee trauma registry and IRR processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and rapid trauma response during alerts.
• Back up ER staff for mass casualty or high-acuity influx.
