Lucid Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Level II trauma center on the Central Coast of California to appoint a Trauma Program Manager who will guide the clinical, operational, and strategic direction of the program. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, performance improvement, and accreditation readiness for both adult and pediatric trauma care.

The ideal candidate will oversee budgets, trauma registry, and multidisciplinary committee activities while collaborating with the trauma

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the trauma program, including day-to-day operations, performance improvement, education, outreach, and regulatory readiness.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary trauma care and develop clinical protocols for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Lead trauma committee activities and maintain readiness for verification standards.
  • Oversee budgets, trauma registry, and data management; work with trauma medical director and hospital leadership.

This opportunity is with an established, full-service hospital that operates a verified Level II trauma program and holds long standing recognition for its commitment to clinical excellence, regulatory readiness, and community-based care. The organization maintains active accreditation through the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and works closely with regional EMS, referring facilities, and community partners to support an integrated trauma system. It has built a reputation for strong physician partnerships, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing investment in program development.

The Trauma Program Manager will provide leadership and oversight of the trauma program, including day to day operations, performance improvement, education, outreach, and regulatory and accreditation readiness. This role coordinates interdisciplinary trauma care and supports the development of clinical protocols and practice guidelines for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include managing program budgets, overseeing trauma registry and data management, leading multidisciplinary trauma committee activities, and maintaining ongoing readiness for verification standards. The position works closely with the trauma medical director, hospital administration, nursing leadership, and community stakeholders to ensure coordinated, high quality trauma care across the continuum.
