Job summary

Natividad seeks a full-time Trauma Program Manager to lead the Trauma Services Department, ensuring ACS COT verification readiness, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role coordinates interdepartmental trauma care, develops clinical protocols, and drives performance improvement for adult and pediatric patients.

Reporting to the CEO, you will manage budgets, collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, EMS, and community partners to sustain a high-quality, evidence-based trauma system.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Chapte7, Article 3, Section 100259 (2), must possess and maintain a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Eight (8) of progressively responsible nursing experience, four (4) years in a critical care, emergency department, or trauma center environment and at least two (2) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience
• TNCC is required within 3 months of start; TNCC Instructor highly desired

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs the services of the NMC’s trauma program; reviews and evaluates administrative and nursing procedures; establishes nursing and unit specific standards and initiates changes as needed
• Directs the preparation and maintenance of trauma program records, reports, and statistics in accordance with administrative and nursing policies and The Joint Commission (TJC) and Title 22 regulations
• Manages operating budgets, budget preparation, and long-range planning for the trauma program
• Oversees the trauma program’s clinical protocols, performance improvement, and outreach activities
