HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Director Trauma Program to lead research, education, and quality initiatives across the trauma care continuum.

You will develop processes for monitoring financial performance, coordinate regional trauma efforts, and drive performance improvement while ensuring patient safety and evidence-based care.

The role requires RN licensure, an associate degree, and BLS within 30 days, with a focus on advancing trauma outcomes in a busy, 267-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN—Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes for monitoring and improving financial performance and resource utilization of the Trauma Center.
• Perform strategic planning and coordinate optimal care of trauma patients across the care continuum.
• Coordinate efforts between local and regional trauma systems.
• Monitor clinical processes, outcomes, and system issues related to the quality of care provided.
• Design the trauma registry to facilitate performance improvement activities, trend reports, and research while protecting confidentiality.
• Manage the processes for verification and re-verification for the Trauma Center.
