Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Trauma Program Director to lead a comprehensive trauma program and partner with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure excellent patient outcomes. You will supervise staff, develop policies, and manage budget while fostering education and community engagement.

The role requires RN licensure in Tennessee, TNCC/ACLS/BLS, and 3–5 years in trauma with managerial experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state is required.
• TNCC Provider, BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a trauma setting with managerial experience.
• Associate of Applied Science in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to address patient care issues.
• Provide trauma nursing care per procedures and nursing process.
• Develop and evaluate policies, procedures, and equipment needs for Level II trauma care.
• Assist in developing and evaluating quality and process improvement plans.
• Lead trauma program goals with hospital leadership and community partners.
• Supervise Trauma Services staff and data registry activities.
