Job summary

MyMichigan Health in Alma/Clare is seeking a Trauma Program Coordinator to organize services for a multidisciplinary approach to care for injured patients. You will develop and advance trauma practice in line with Michigan designation criteria for Adult Level III/IV trauma centers and collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director(s) to improve patient care across the continuum.

You will lead a performance program, review trauma data, and provide education to staff and the community while serving

Qualifications

• RN with Michigan licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree required; nursing degree preferred.
• 3–5 years ED experience.
• ACLS/BLS certification within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Adult Level III/IV trauma verification criteria by MI.
• Evaluate trauma data and prepare monthly summaries and reviews.
• Review Alma and Clare traumas; enter trauma charges with structured review.
• Provide education and liaise with administration to enhance trauma care.
