Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Trauma Prevention Coordinator to develop and implement community injury prevention programs using trauma data and evidence-based practices across the service area. Responsibilities include coordinating presentations, tracking reach, and collaborating with schools and community groups to promote safety.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or Bachelor's Degree in related field; MSN or Master's in Community Health preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, organizational and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual plan for community awareness and injury prevention initiatives based on data and in collaboration with Trauma Program Director.
• Coordinates or provides public education presentations on trauma awareness and injury prevention across service area.
• Maintains logs of events and people served; follows up on requests for presentations.
• Participates in national, state and regional injury prevention efforts and coordinates resources with stakeholders.
