Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Trauma Prevention Coordinator to develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate injury prevention initiatives that support the trauma center’s mission.

You will partner with schools and community organizations to provide education on fall prevention, motor vehicle, distracted driving, bicycle and pedestrian safety, and Stop the Bleed hemorrhage control, using trauma data to guide priorities.

Competenze

• BSN with PA RN licensure; Master’s in Community Health preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years, 5–8 preferred in trauma, surgical, critical care, or emergency nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with patients, families and hospital staff; strong leadership, collaboration, organization and teaching skills.
• Injury Prevention Course completed after hire.
• Current PA Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Degree in Community Health.

Mansioni

• Develops an annual plan for community awareness and injury prevention initiatives based on trauma registry data.
• Engages in internal and external programs and coordinates public education presentations on trauma awareness and prevention.
• Coordinates education materials and outreach across the hospital’s service area with marketing collaboration.
• Keeps an accurate log of events and people served; follows up on requests for presentations.
• Actively participates in national, state and regional injury prevention efforts with Jefferson Torresdale Hospital staff and partners.
• Secures resources and materials from supporting agencies for injury prevention programs.
