ThedaCare in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Trauma Performance Improvement RN Coordinator to lead the trauma program, collaborate with medical staff, and drive performance improvement. You will analyze data, develop action plans, and prepare the team for DHS verification while coordinating community trauma efforts.
Responsibilities include education, interprofessional collaboration, and rapid response to trauma activations. Current Wisconsin RN license and trauma experience are required.

Summary : The Trauma Performance Improvement RN Coordinator serves as a ThedaCare and community clinical resource by providing leadership in trauma clinical practice, performance improvement and professional development for interdisciplinary team members involved in the care of an injured patient.
Works closely with the medical staff, administration, specialty practices, department managers, ancillary services, and nursing team members in a highly organized, multidisciplinary approach.
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance. Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties. Work Environment Normally works in climate-controlled office environment Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock Occasional high noise level in work environment Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents Use of computers throughout the work day Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients Position requires compliance with department specific competencies.
