TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse who provides high-quality, patient-centered care for pre-operative and post-operative patients. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to support an outstanding patient experience.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, medication administration, and ongoing assessment. Candidates must hold RN license, an Associate Degree, and ACLS/BLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• RN license required or active in good standing.
• ACLS required within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS/CPR required within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition during admission and shifts.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians to deliver pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift,identifyingand reporting any changes in patient status.

• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.

• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor response.

• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Registered Nurse.

• Associate Degree.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
