Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is hiring an Intermediate Care Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, including pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.

The RN will advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience and must obtain ACLS and BLS within 30 days of employment, with an Associate Degree in Nursing and Tennessee RN licensure.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure is required to practice in the state of Tennessee.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care in the patient record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Supportmust be obtained within30 daysof employment start date

• Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
