Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN in the Operating Room located in Danville, Pennsylvania. The position offers a $24,000 hiring incentive along with competitive hiring rates starting at $41.50, plus shift differentials, and relocation assistance of $7,500 for eligible candidates.

The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and direct care in a specialized Operating Room environment. This role requires strong communication and nursing skills, and offers comprehensive medical benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Orientation Monday-Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm.
• Permanent schedule options of 36 hours weekly or 40 hours weekly.
• Weekend call required twice within each 4-week block.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice.
• Addresses physical and psychological needs of patients.
• Formulates and coordinates patient care plans.
