Qualifications

• Nursing knowledge and patient care skills.
• Ability to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with nursing assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Formulates and provides plan of care with education and discharge planning.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises care.
