Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an experienced Trauma Registered Nurse Lead for a full-time night shift (7p-7a). The RN coordinates high-quality, patient-centered trauma care in partnership with providers, and acts as an advocate for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience.

Join a Level II Trauma Center with extensive benefits and growth opportunities. Must have ER/Trauma or Critical Care nursing experience, GA license, ASN/BSN, and ENPC/TNCC within 6 months of start.

Qualifications

• ENPC must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• TNCC must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Prior ER, Trauma or Critical Care nursing experience is required.
• Clear and active GA or compact state nursing license is required.
• ASN/BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient record timely and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy and preoperative medications.
