Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma or higher required to practice as a nurse.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification is required. A BSN is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of patient safety, care planning, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses information systems to document care, monitor outcomes, and support improvement.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and coordinated care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities and committee work.
• Acts as a preceptor to appropriate staff and supports ongoing professional development.
