Job summary

Jefferson Health's Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive inpatient care using the nursing process. You will develop nursing plans and coordinate care with patients and designated care partners, aligning with cultural beliefs and values.

You will participate in education, evidence-based practice, and quality initiatives while delivering safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital setting. A PA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in Nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients and families.
• Understanding of health information documentation and safety protocols.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RN license active in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families and staff to provide coordinated care.
• Identifies learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
• Uses information technology to document and monitor care outcomes.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
