Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and designated care partners, ensure evidence-based practice, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Active PA RN license and strong communication skills are essential. A BSN is preferred, with opportunities for preceptorship and professional growth within Jefferson Health’s system.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice (PA).
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and discharge planning processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Use evidence-based nursing practices to address patient needs and safety.
• Document and manage patient information using health IT systems.
• Work within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
• Support preceptorship and ongoing professional development.
