Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Staff RN for the 9 Trauma Medical-Surgical unit. The fast-paced 45-bed unit cares for trauma patients from ED admissions or ICU transfers, with a focus on acute and chronic needs of hemodynamically stable patients.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or meets exception criteria, possesses Nebraska or compact state RN licensure, and maintains BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC/ATCN within required timelines.

Qualifications

• BSN required unless exception criteria are met.
• Nebraska RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a designated patient group.
• Collaborate with health care teams to meet holistic patient needs.
• Provide patient education and ensure safety and quality of care.
