Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is hiring a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join our incredible nursing team. The 5C Trauma Med/Surg Unit is a 16-bed step-down unit serving diverse medical and post-surgical patients, with exposure to minor trauma cases.

The full-time night shift runs three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a varied schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will support clinical staff and perform nursing care and related tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification Idaho required or Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire (unless ACLS/PALS already held).
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience in acute care preferred.
• Ability to care for all age groups: Neonate–Geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff at the unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service tasks.
• Provide nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under licensed nurse supervision.
