Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks a Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator to support injury prevention and outreach activities within the trauma program.

The role involves hospital and community education, regional collaboration, and alignment with ACS/state verification requirements. The position is full-time (40 hours) with a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement, requiring NC RN licensure in Montana, BSN, BLS, and 2 years of critical care/ED

Qualifications

RN license in state of practice
BSN from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Two years current critical care or emergency department experience

Responsibilities

Identifies gap in trauma performance through participation in trauma meetings.
Facilitates trauma education within the hospital and trauma referral region.
Participates in community outreach and regional marketing for trauma.
Participates in local and State Trauma Care Committee education and/or injury prevention subcommittees.
Participates in yearly Regional Trauma meetings if available in the region.
Collaborates with hospital and community stakeholders in legislative action committees.
Seeks financial support for injury prevention and outreach activities through grant organizations.
