Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Youth Treatment Specialist (Full-Time) for the Boelkins Program serving adolescents aged 10-16 in a residential behavioral health setting. You will provide direct care, implement individualized plans, and support youths in developing coping skills and daily living abilities.

You will work on a schedule with 4 weekdays (mostly 2nd shift) and alternating weekends, with shifts from 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical interventions
• Aligned with Wedgwood’s Statement of Faith, vision and values

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans with therapists and case managers
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment based on the Sanctuary Model
• Build mentoring relationships using trauma-informed approaches
• Use verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
• Model healthy communication, problem-solving, and daily living skills
• Support youth in developing life skills and positive identity
• Engage in structured recreational and skill-building activities
• Administer medications as assigned and support wellness routines
• Document and maintain accurate records per behavioral health standards
• Transport residents to appointments, school, court, or community activities
