Job summary

McKinley Children's Center in San Dimas is seeking a Treatment Counselor to provide trauma-informed care to children. Responsibilities include supervision, collaboration with treatment teams, and documentation of child progress. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, Child Development Teaching Permit, and have relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• At least 100 hours of experience working with youth.
• Valid certificate as an Alcohol or Drug Counselor and at least 100 hours of experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Constant supervision and care of children ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with treatment team for children's development.
• Document child progress and communicate needs to managers.
