StepStone Family and Youth Services is seeking a Therapist in Morehead, KY. The role involves providing individual, family, and group therapy with a trauma-informed approach, following best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work or counseling.
• 1 year experience in child welfare services.
• Licensed or provisionally licensed Master’s level in social work, therapy or counseling.
• Ability to set appropriate boundaries and maintain a helping role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health assessments.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions as per treatment plan and document sessions.
• Maintain electronic records meeting regulatory standards and confidentiality.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Utilize trauma-informed, evidenced-based therapies (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR).
• Collaborate with the child and family team; provide non-clinical consultation when appropriate.
• Attend as an essential function and comply with subpoenas for records/court.
