Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies in Sacramento is seeking a Youth Stabilization Specialist to provide daily care, guidance, and emotional support within a structured, trauma-informed program for youth ages 11–17.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, implement routines, crisis de-escalation, and transportation coordination, with on-call crisis coverage. This on-site, full-time position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $28.45 to $30.95.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience OR Associate degree with 2 years of applicable experience OR HS diploma with 3 years of applicable experience
• Be part of rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead
• At least 21 years old; TB and fingerprint clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, structure, and emotional support to youth per STRTP standards
• Implement daily routines and activities aligned with treatment plans
• Use trauma-informed communication and de-escalation techniques
• Intervene in crisis situations following policies to ensure safety
• Coordinate transport for school, medical, and therapy appointments
• Participate in on-call crisis support and staff meetings
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
