Clarvida in the United States seeks a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth ages 3–18 in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. You will help develop social, emotional, behavioral and independent living skills to promote stability across home, school, and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience; additional education may substitute for years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided by agency
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification provided by agency
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving training provided by agency
• Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families in foster care, adoption, or guardianship.
• Work with youth 3–18 to develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills.
• Maintain a small caseload and coordinate with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and community partners.
• Offer skills training during times most relevant to youth and family.
