The State of New Hampshire seeks a Director of Secure Treatment Services for SYSC at Sununu Youth Services Center in Manchester. You will lead clinical and residential youth programs, ensuring trauma-informed care, safety, and compliance while guiding a large, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget oversight, stakeholder engagement, and advancing youth outcomes through data-driven management and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, sociology, social work, psychology, or related field.
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive executive leadership in youth rehabilitation or public-sector youth services.
Must have strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for SYSC.
Oversee program operations, safety, and budget with trauma-informed care.
Develop and implement a unified operating philosophy.
Lead staff development and succession planning.
Represent SYSC with external stakeholders and regulators.
