Job summary

The Children’s Center of Hamden is seeking a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day program operations in a trauma-informed environment, ensuring safe, compliant operations and consistent scheduling.

You will lead staff through supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation, collaborate with clinical and leadership teams, and support hiring and on-site supervision to promote youth outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum supervisory leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain required certifications (Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention).
• Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day program operations, ensuring model and schedules are followed.
• Creates trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate environment for youths.
• Coaches staff; conducts competency assessments and performance reviews.
• Supports hiring activities, onboarding, and staffing decisions.
• Maintains thorough documentation and regulatory compliance.
