Job summary

Project Patch Youth Program – Garden Valley, Idaho is seeking dependable Youth Mentors to provide supervision, behavioral support, mentorship, and positive role modeling for adolescents ages 12-17. This is a full-time role with a Pitman-style schedule and overtime built into the rotation.

No professional license required; training provided. On-site housing may be available, and the position offers benefits including health insurance, retirement with employer match, PSLF eligibility, and paid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum age of 19 at time of hire.
• Experience working with youth or in behavioral health is preferred but not required.
• No professional license required for this position.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and maturity for working with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supervision to support youth safety.
• Implement behavior support plans and individualized care strategies.
• Respond to behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques.
• Complete accurate documentation and shift notes.
• Engage youth in daily programming, including recreation and education.
• Assist with meals, transportation, and daily residential operations.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and supervision.
