Saint Francis Ministries is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to support youth who've experienced trauma and behavioral health challenges. You will join a dedicated team that helps youths rebuild trust, learn coping skills, and shape a brighter future, providing consistent supervision and compassionate care.

The role emphasizes safety, de-escalation, documentation, and collaboration with supervisors and other staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• MANDT – Offered as part of onboarding.
• CPR – Offered as part of onboarding.
• Prefer one year's experience working with children.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass physical, drug screen and TB test.
• Must pass MVR, DCF fingerprint and KDADS background checks.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the client’s daily planning routine.
• Supervises clients during meals, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Provides structure, discipline, and security in meeting the needs of the clients.
• Intervenes in crisis situations using the approved Mandt system.
• Reports critical incidents to appropriate channels.
• Maintains cleanliness of the campus and monitors rooms/chores.
• Assists in administration of prescribed medications when trained.
• Supervises clients during chapel services and serves as a role model.
