Job summary

Reasons Eating Disorder Center in the Los Angeles area seeks a Yoga Therapist to join as a contractor. The role involves teaching yoga poses, breathing and meditation to patients across our residential and inpatient/partial hospitalization programs, with pay per session ($70–$80).

Candidate must have a Bachelor's in a related field, at least two years of yoga teaching experience and ideally trauma-informed training, with California licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in activity therapy, humanities, social work or a related therapeutic discipline.
• Experience: Two years as a Yoga Instructor; trauma-informed yoga training preferred.
• Licensure: California licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach patients yoga poses, breathing and meditation.
• Promote a positive relationship with the body and mindfulness.
• Support residents in residential facilities and hospital programs.
