Job summary

The Salvation Army City Mission in Chicago seeks an Anti-Trafficking Specialist for VOCA to provide short-term, emergency case management for survivors awaiting placement into longer-term programs. You will establish trust in crisis, address immediate safety needs such as housing, food, medical care, and legal protections, and coordinate with partners to transition survivors into appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BSW preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year case management experience; bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and victim advocacy.
• Knowledge of VOCA regulations and Illinois victim rights is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term emergency case management for trafficking survivors.
• Coordinate housing, emergency financial assistance, and legal protections.
• Advocate for clients and connect to long-term services.
• Maintain an active caseload and conduct assessments under supervision.
